Stephen Harrod Buhner is an Earth poet and the award-winning author of ten books on nature, indigenous cultures, the environment, and herbal medicine.

Stephen's work has appeared or been profiled in publications throughout North America and Europe including Common Boundary, Apotheosis, Shaman's Drum, The New York Times, CNN, and Good Morning America. Stephen lectures yearly throughout the United States on herbal medicine, the sacredness of plants, the intelligence of Nature, and the states of mind necessary for successful habitation of Earth.

An advocate of "everyday adventure," Conaway administers community outdoor programs throughout Wisconsin, and teaches outdoor pursuits at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and has facilitated herbal medicine and wildcrafting classes, apprenticeships, and campouts since 1995.

Cassie Premo Steele is a Pushcart Prize nominated poet, writer and creativity coach. She is the author of six books-- the first book was Ash Tree's own Moon Days, an edited collection of creative writings and art about women's cycles.

She also writes poetry, essays, and fiction about how women's bodies and spirits are connected, and, when balanced, can bring about positive change in women's lives, our society, and the natural world. Her most recent book is a novel called Shamrock and Lotus, forthcoming from All Things That Matter Press.h.

Dr. Susan E. Brown, PhD, CNS, is a medical anthropologist and a New York State Certified Nutritionist. She has more than 20 years of experience in clinical nutrition, bone health research, and lay and health professional education. She has consulted widely on socioeconomic, cultural, educational, and health issues. While Dr. Brown currently specializes in osteoporosis and bone health, she is also an expert in the development of programs for immune enhancement.

Stephen Buhner

Max Dashu founded the Suppressed Histories Archives in 1970 to research and document women's history from an international perspective. She has photographed some 15,000 slides and created 100 slideshows on female power and heritages transhistorically, including Women's Power, Rebel Shamans, Female Rebels and Mavericks, Taming the Female Body, and Racism, History and Lies.

Dashu is known for her expertise on ancient female iconography in world archaeology, goddess traditions, and women shamans. She has also done extensive research on mother-right cultures and the origins of domination.
