Lucretia Jones grew up in the suburbs of Richmond where she would spend hours exploring the surrounding woods. She attended Open High School and eventually graduated from VCO in 1998 with a degree in Sculpture. Her passion for art making led her to New York in 1999, where she lived until 2005. Somewhere along the way, inundated by the roar of that concrete jungle, her childhood interests were reignited.

Kris Steinnes began her spiritual journey in 1990. In 1993 after reading The Feminine Face of God, Kris followed her vision to create a conference to bring women spiritual leaders to Seattle, the Women of Wisdom Conference, which is celebrating its 20th year in 2012.

Carolyn Honey Friedman is almost always called Honey, Honey is the mother of two fantastic beings, grandmother of a beautiful boy, taught elementary school in the USA and English as a second language in Spain and Morocco, worked as an actress in musical comedy in NYC, taught American history abroad by singing folk songs to foreign students, speak fluent Spanish and French, some Arabic, Italian, Dutch and Yiddish, love to sing, dance, play piano, guitar, ukulele and recorder, travel, experience people, cultures, foods, languages and ways of being.

Matthew Wood has been a practicing herbalist since 1982. In a period when many authors and lecturers are merely "arm chair herbalists" who offer theories and opinions based on book learning, and others have turned to the exotic traditions of India or China, he has been an active practitioner of traditional Western herbalism. He has helped tens of thousands of clients over the years, with many difficult health problems.

Britt Bolnick became pregnant with Bella a few days after sending out a plea to the universe to be shown her path in life. At the time she was teaching incarcerated men and women in the NYC jails. The first year of parenting Bella was almost unbearable for Britt. Bella was an extremely sensitive and high-needs baby and had a lot of problems sleeping, which meant that most of the time Britt was severely sleep-deprived.
